We had a lovely Easter this year and went to church in our finest. It was a lovely, sunny day in Montreal, albeit a bit cold. I miss having a garden and seeing the crocus and daffodils pop up but there have been plenty flowers about town to celebrate Spring!
Neve always has fantastic hair post-bath and tonight I caught her in the middle of a giggle fest with Dad. The distraction of impending tickles made photos much easier to capture!
Neve came home today from her nanny's house with her first pigtails. While she still will barely let me brush her hair, Katalin seems to have found the secret to getting her to sit still long enough for a cute hair do!
Ladies and gentlemen, presenting Miss Neve the newly minted toddler of two! We had a smashing celebration to the ABBA and the Mamma Mia soundtrack. All in all the party was full of feather boas, sparkles, cupcakes, wild frivolity, and good times had by all!
Mind you, I'm a wee bit late posting these! However, we had a great holiday hanging out with our friends Cassandra and Kris and partaking in all the free festivals Montreal had to offer down in Old Port. Neve indulged in her passion for balls and the best "horsey ride" ever!

Many of our impromptu photo sessions take place on the couch as you can see from the blue in the background. In this case, as Brett was going through a box of old things, we discovered Horse which is Brett's favourite toy from childhood. We gave it to Neve to play with and caught a cute pic of her and Horse on the couch together. In the same session we also caught big!, small, and sleepy.
Neve and I went shopping at our absolute favorite store H&M the other day for some new dresses for Sundays. She was growing out of her 12-18 month old size and I just assumed there was a 18-24 month old size in the baby section…nope! Neve is now a 1.5-2 year old size in the little girls section. Now I realize that 18-24 month and 1.5-2 year old is exactly the same age and consequently exactly the same size but the jaw dropping factor is that one is located at the very top of the baby spectrum while the other is at the very bottom of the little girl spectrum. For a mum, this is a really big deal! So here to show off her two new “little girl” dresses is Neve…
